Description : it is a widespread hotel, a real village in the heart of Salentine Greece, where rediscovering places is a little dedicated to the spirit , listen to the slow rhythms of a land, the Salento, which offers itself generous in cultural experiences, in flavors, in nature, in the paths through which it can be explored. The lodgings - at the center of the ancient agora of Martano - the attention with which they present themselves and recount, restructured in the essence of the spirit of the place where, in time, were granaries, monasteries, private houses and workshops of knowledge, places of worship, of affection and attention. Halfway between Ionian and Adriatic, fair-present between cultural holiday and holiday stay, Borgoterra offers 10 different scenarios, 10 different theaters similar to village life splits.

Accommodations

THE DIMORE: equipped the lodgings, real mansions, of all the modern comforts in a discrete fusion between what those rooms were and what a relaxing holiday requires is the formula that distinguishes Borgoterra. In each dwelling a journey is proposed in the ancient building techniques enhanced by the imperceptible presence of modern technologies and materials: each dwelling tells a story, each room has its own secret, every corner an anecdote.
ANGLE
Perfect for an escape of love, it is a house with an independent entrance, located at the corner of the street that leads from the houses to the courtyard to the splendid Chiesa Madre. The accommodation is on two levels. Once inside, guests will find themselves inside a living room entrance equipped with a built-in hob. The walls and the vaulted ceiling in Lecce stone make the room used as a unique living area. White geometries that guide the eye to the discovery of ancient architecture, perfectly recovered from a restoration attentive to every detail. A stone staircase leads to the sleeping area consisting of a double bedroom that amazes with its wooden roof and canes and a private bathroom.
CAPASA
Many of the residences of Borgoterra take their name from the families that once lived in these places. This is the case of this ground floor apartment, designed to accommodate disabled guests as well. The dwelling is on one level and consists of a bright entrance / living room with a masonry kitchenette, private bathroom, and a cozy double bedroom with a pouf in addition. The bathroom and shower are perfectly equipped to ensure maximum comfort even to guests with possible mobility difficulties.
CASTELLUZZO
A large and welcoming residence. It is located on the first floor and has a private entrance. The large bedroom has a comfortable double bed and a single bed. It is equipped with a large fireplace in Lecce stone and a wooden ceiling and reeds. The apartment has a private entrance, a living room with kitchenette and sofa bed and a private bathroom. It is adjacent (and communicating via a usually closed wooden door) with the MONACA dwelling. The two lodgings can become a single dwelling for groups of friends or large families. On request they can be inhabited as one environment.
MONACA
It is perhaps among the most evocative of those offered. Located on the first floor, and equipped with a private terrace, it seems to have been inhabited in the fifteenth century by a not particularly generous abbess, who has exasperated the inhabitants of Borgoterra to the point that they deserve an exemplary punishment. Dina and Francesco, hosts in Borgoterra, will be able to tell guests this and other stories evocative of the places that they will live. The apartment, bright and comfortable, has independent access, living / dining room with kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom and terrace.
PROTUPAPA
This dwelling is also named after one of the families that once inhabited these places. It is spread on one level and can accommodate up to 3 people thanks to the comfortable double bed with a beautiful wrought iron headboard and the addition of a single bed. Bright and spacious, it features a living room with a kitchenette and a private bathroom. The ceiling recalls the ancient roofs built with the old method of "incannucciata", consisting of wooden beams with overhanging pipes and roof tiles.
SCIANNI
Small and comfortable studio located on the first floor of the main courtyard, whose name derives from one of the ancient inhabitants of Borgoterra, is equipped with a private balcony, a furnished bathroom and a comfortable double bedroom. Suitable for short stays and romantic getaways, it is the only one of the houses that does not have a kitchenette. This distinctive element & nbsp; is perhaps the strong point, suitable for young couples who stay for short periods to discover the area, and who prefer to visit the Salento tasting the many local delicacies offered by the nearby dining options. It has a private balcony overlooking the court houses, the finishes in Lecce stone, present in the bedroom and in the bathroom, and a very special and large shower with exposed stones.
SIGNORINA ADA
Among the industrious inhabitants of Borgoterra, at the beginning of the century there was a woman never married, who dedicated her life to carrying on a small artisan tailoring. The entrance to the house is located in front of the main courtyard. To immediately amaze the visitor is the steep stone staircase that leads from the street to the entrance of the house. Despite the recent restoration, the access stairway has remained deliberately steep and at times almost "consumed" in memory of the steps that the old Miss walked on those stairs. The house is spacious and bright, equipped with a four-poster bed, a bathroom with an emotional double shower carved into the stone and a hideaway kitchenette. Going up again to the staircase that leads to the entrance of the house in the first instance, you can reach a charming terrace once used as a henhouse.
STALLA
It takes its name from its original function. This was in fact the place used for the shelter of animals, then carefully restored. It has an elegant entrance hall with a living room and a built-in kitchen, but it is large enough to give space to a two-seater sofa bed. A stone staircase will lead guests into the bedroom upstairs, where they find the right place for a double bed and a single bed in wrought iron. To accompany you in the rest, the view of a warm wooden roof and reeds, traditional of the Salento area. It is ideal for a family holiday, with its independent entrance that allows the right privacy can comfortably accommodate 4-5 people on the two levels from which it is composed.
STEU
Entering the common court, it is the first welcoming residence that is presented to guests. A nice apartment on two levels, with a large living area consisting of a kitchenette and a double sofa bed, dressing room and private bathroom. A stone staircase perfectly set in the environment, leads the guest to a beautiful loft with wood and cane ceiling, which houses a comfortable bedroom.
VICO

An independent entrance and a small private garden, enrich this luminous residence on two levels and equipped with a large living room with a masonry hob, a sofa / double bed, a private bathroom and a bedroom which can be accessed from a stone staircase.
