Day 2 - Etna and Taormina / Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion on the Etna, one of the biggest tourist attractions of Sicily. Etna, named Mongibello, is one of the most active volcanoes in the world. The bus will reach 1900 meters, from there you can admire interesting landscapes and the extinct craters of the Silvestri mountains. Possibility of the hike at the top of 3000 meters (payable locally): with the cable car you reach 2600 meters, from there with 4X4 you will reach 3000 meters and with the help of a mountain guide you can admire the craters still active. In the afternoon departure for a visit to Taormina, a paradise for its cracks, its vegetation, its gardens, its ruins, whose colors contrast with the blue of the sky and the sea. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 3 - Catania and Syracuse / Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Catania, visit of the historic center and the fish market. Continue to Syracuse, the home of Archimedes. Visit the famous archaeological site Neapolis, where you will visit the Greek theater, the Roman amphitheater, the Latomie of Paride, and the Ear of Dionysus. In the afternoon visit of Ortigia: the physical and spiritual heart of the city with the predominance of medieval buildings and some palace and baroque church: visit of the cathedral of the seventh century that contains within it a Greek temple. Visit of the Palace, of the fountain of Arethusa. Free time and return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4 - Piazza Armerina, Agrigento / Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for visit of Piazza Armerina the Villa del Casale fabulous villa for its thirty decorated rooms of 3500 m & sup2; of mosaics. Continue to the Valle dei Templi with its fabulous ruins and almost intact temples. Arrival at the hotel, accommodation in the rooms, dinner and overnight.
Day 5 - Erice, Selinunte, Agrigento / Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Erice, a small medieval village a hundred kilometers from Palermo. Here we find the Castello Pepoli and the castle of Venus that contains some ruins dedicated to the goddess Venus Ericina. In the afternoon, visit the archaeological site of Selinunte. Arrival at the hotel, accommodation in the rooms, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 - North Coast: Cefalù, Palermo / Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Castelbuono, a town founded by the Byzantines: visit of the historical center with its numerous churches and the castle of Ventimiglia, tasting of local products. Lunch along the way to Cefalù, in a typical restaurant with folk music and wine included. Arrival in Cefalù. Visit the Cathedral and the Duomo. Arrival at the hotel, accommodation in the rooms, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7 - Palermo / Breakfast at the Hotel. Start of the city tour with a small panoramic tour in the Centro Bus. Visit a typical market, visit the imposing cathedral, an incredible and majestic monument. Visit to the Palazzo dei Normanni and the Cappella Palatina, chapel that preserves the sumptuous Byzantine mosaics of which the most ancient date back to the 12th century. Visit of Monreale. Return to the hotel for lunch. Visit in the afternoon of the surroundings of Palermo: Mondello, Monte Pellegrino & hellip; or free time. Dinner and overnight.
Day 8 - Departure / Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport, formalities for boarding. Check.
