1st day - Arrive in the Salento, check-in at the hotel, free evening. Dinner.
2nd day - Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of the town centre of Lecce and its major sights: Santa Croce, Palazzo dei Celestini, Palazzo Adorno, Piazza San Oronzo, the Church del Rosario, the Church San Biagio… In the afternoon visit other monuments, including the city walls and the city gates. Dinner.
3rd day - Breakfast. Visit the town centre of Otranto and its main monuments, the cathedral, the bastions, the gates to the town. Visit the cathedral and its chapel where the bones of Otranto’s 800 martyrs are shown and listen to a short history of the event, visit the crypt and the mosaic (the biggest in the world) created by the monk Pantaleone. Back to the hotel. Dinner.
4th day - Breakfast. Visit Gallipoli, its town centre, the cathedral. In the afternoon visit Santa Maria di Leuca, where you’ll admire some villas dating back to the beginning of the 20th century (just the outside), the monumental stairway arriving at the sanctuary of Santa Maria de Finibus Terrae, where you will enjoy a wonderful panoramic view. Back to the hotel. Dinner.
