Rice, Italian Passion – Half board at the hotel, transfer to the rice-growing area, the superb Piedmontese “checkered sea.” Stop at an authentic farm for a visit and a rich tasting. In the afternoon, you can relive the experience of ancient pilgrims by retracing, on foot, a short stretch of the famous “Via Francigena,” following the rural itineraries that run alongside the rice paddies.
The Northern Lakes – Breakfast at the hotel, private transfer to Lake Maggiore, boarding for the three islands (Isola Bella, Isola Madre, Isola dei Pescatori). Visit to the Borromeo family palace and time for photos in the scenic garden. Return to Turin, dinner with typical local dishes in a refined restaurant.
Langhe – Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the unmissable Langhe region. Suggestive panoramic views of the soft and welcoming hills: from Serralunga to La Morra, known as “the balcony over the Langhe,” to Grinzane Cavour, and finally Barolo, where you will visit the namesake castle, home to WI.MU, the most innovative wine museum in Italy and among the most important in the world. Wine and Bubbles – Half board at the hotel. Transfer to Barbaresco through vineyards, hazelnut groves, and truffle grounds, with a stop in the village of Neive, one of the most beautiful in Italy, known for its wines of excellence. Tasting in a cellar. Continue to Canelli, the home of Italian sparkling wine. Visit the prestigious underground cathedrals—sumptuous, solemn, and unique cellars of Canelli, which have been declared a UNESCO “World Heritage Site.” Miles and miles of tunnels and rooms wind through the heart of the tuffaceous hill upon which the town stands; these true masterpieces of engineering and architecture house the sparkling wines at a constant temperature of 12-14 degrees.
